Entrepreneurship Development Cell

BCET- ED Cell was established in 2024 in association with ISTD-Balasore Chapter, New Delhi. The main objective of the cell is to encourage and promote entrepreneurship among the students. It aims to train and motivate students to start businesses. ED Cell will have an interdisciplinary approach and our emphasis will be on developing entrepreneurial knowledge, skill, and acumen among the young technocrats as well as professional management students that they will become job creators instead of being job seekers.

Objectives of the ED Cell

  • Establish the institution as a recognized centre of excellence in entrepreneurship development.
  • Create a supportive and resourceful environment that nurtures entrepreneurial thinking among students and youth.
  • Inspire and equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to launch and grow successful ventures.
  • Promote innovation, creativity, and problem-solving through entrepreneurial activities and initiatives.
  • Contribute to sustainable economic development by encouraging startups and business ventures that address real-world challenges.

Cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit and mindset among youth by fostering a strong entrepreneurial culture through structured institutional mechanisms, with a focus on transforming innovative ideas into successful startups.

Entrepreneurship Development Programs

Our ED cell has organized entrepreneurship development programs like Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps (EAC), Expert Talks, Seminars, and National Lavel Workshops in association with ISTD-Balasore Chapter, New Delhi.
